1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how VIRAL.AI (an AI social media automation platform at https://aiviralo.com) collects, uses, stores and shares your information.
2. Information We Collect
(a) Account information: email address and display name you provide at sign-up. (b) OAuth tokens: encrypted access and refresh tokens for social platforms you connect (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X and others). (c) Platform metadata: post IDs, captions, view counts, like counts, share counts and similar metrics returned by the APIs you have authorized. (d) AI-generated content you create within VIRAL.AI.
3. How We Use Your Information
To fetch and display your social media analytics; to generate AI variants of your content; to publish to your connected accounts only when you instruct us to; and to improve our internal AI prediction models on an aggregate, anonymised basis. We never sell your data.
4. Third-Party Platforms
When you connect TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X or any other supported platform, VIRAL.AI accesses only the scopes you approve and acts on your behalf. We do not share data with advertisers or data brokers. Use of data obtained from each platform is governed by that platform's developer terms in addition to this policy.
5. Data Storage & Security
Access tokens are encrypted with AES-256 (Fernet) before storage. All communications use TLS 1.3. We follow industry-standard infrastructure security practices and review access controls regularly.
6. Data Retention
Connected-account tokens are stored only while the connection is active. On disconnect or account deletion, tokens are purged within 30 days. Aggregate, anonymised analytics may be retained for product improvement.
7. Your Rights
You may disconnect any platform at any time from the Connections page. You may request a full export or deletion of your data by emailing privacy@aiviralo.com. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.
8. Cookies & Tracking
We use a single JWT bearer token stored in browser localStorage for authentication. No third-party tracking cookies. No advertising pixels. No cross-site tracking.
9. Children
VIRAL.AI is not directed to users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact privacy@aiviralo.com and we will delete it.
10. International Users
VIRAL.AI is operated from the United States. By using the Service you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy. The effective date at the top will be revised; material changes will be notified by email or in-app banner.
